About Us

Tom Blake graduated Williams College, and started The Blake Company shortly thereafter. He has lived in a succession of old houses in Belmont, and has become well versed in historical renovation from first hand experience. He has supervised complete renovations of historic houses in Belmont, Cambridge, Lincoln, Concord,and Ipswich, as well as constructed new dwellings.He also does drafting and building plans, which sometimes eliminates the need for a client to hire an architect. Tom's craftsmen have been with him for at least 15 years, and they are all versed in the high quality demanded for Blake Company projects.

Heather Reeves Blake graduated from Vanderbilt University with a nursing degree. Though her daytime job is that of school nurse in Belmont, her moonlight job and secret passion is decorating. She likes the historical color palette, and believes in intergrating the color scheme of the whole house. In addition to houses in Maine and Indiana, she has worked with Tom extensively in the western suburbs of Boston on The Blake Company projects.
